I am from Beirut, Lebanon. I am a PhD student at Open Lab. I hold a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and an MPH with a concentration in health promotion and community health from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and an MRes in digital civics from Newcastle University. I worked as a project and training coordinator at the Center for Public Health Practice (CPHP) at the Faculty of Health Sciences at AUB.

My current research interests and projects revolve around youth self-organization and civic engagement within the context of Lebanon with particular interest in social innovation and how participatory design can be applied in such a context to inform the design of digital technology that facilitates and supports service provision delivered by self-organised groups and grassroots organizations.
